I mined 600,000 DOGE in 2014 and obviously wasn't really bothered about them until recently, so I spent the last several days syncing my wallet back up to speed.

It's hard to move on with that huge amount of Doge Coin, but the community has no answer on what to do on how to recover your loss coins, but it's good that you posted it here so we can learned from your experience to always check and monitor and make sure that wallet is properly secure, it's a lesson all of us holders must learn.
