People are loosing trust in institutions like the banks controlled by government, people are loosing trust in the currencies of their countries. Since the idea of crypto gives the solution of freedom from government control and a profitable way to invest and save your cash, more people are tending towards it and its a major reason we are recording growing interest and investment in bitcoin thus growth.
China is very suspicious towards crypto. That's why they banned all China based crypto exchanges, and there will be no surprise for me is they will ban bitcoin in the near future. Communists are always afraid of things that is out of their control.
