Actually, either of the wallets, standalone or what you called as
"regular wallet", it depends on the market situation if their price will perform well. It's common for coins and tokens to crash the moment they get listed so you have to be prepared for it.
I have lots of coins here on my desktop wallet with their respective standalone wallets. I got good profits overall
(thru airdrop) before but they are dead in development right now.
