can Etherum gas be any smaller than now? I feel the price of gas is very expensive, if you are a person who has a lot of etherum this is not a problem but if you are a poor person then this will be very unprofitable
In depends on the network TXs. Fees are crazy nowdays with this Defi hype. But they can reduce fees only when moved to POS.
ETH gas fees are excessively high, however people won't stop using it but anytime bigger TXs than before and until we move onto faster, quicker network POS system we have to live with it. It's just matter of time when 2.0 is completed, gas fees will be much lower.
