Actually I mean not stop playing slots, just avoid slots that give big wins so we can continue to play with different slot games or a different provider
My experience is that new slots give big wins after that the day of suction will come
if we avoid it then other users will get it it's kind of a push-pull cycle 
That is what I noticed too. The reason why I keep on hoping on different slots when I play is the same reason as you. I also observe that playing the same kind of slots for a longer period of time won't give a good win instead, it will give you many dead spins and there is a huge chance of not getting anything if you hit a bonus round.
