I don't know how much we can trust this news, since the Indian government is planning to make ownership of cryptocurrency a criminal offense. That means that Jack Dorsey can be jailed, if he travels to India. The African governments are not that retarded, but recently the Nigerian government issued a banking ban on Bitcoin and now bank accounts can't be used to trade in cryptocurrency.
Jack Dorsey is a billionaire and hence he will be having a team of lawyers to take care of him if any government tries to intimidate and more over he is an American citizen and India will not mess with any entrepreneur billionaires from US as the recuperation of the damage created if they take any actions will be really big.
Will see whether the bill will be passed on banning it, i am still expecting regulations to make the market safer and not a complete ban.
