We are in bull market and just like 2016 and 2017 it will stay for atleast a year this time around too and as far as Elon Musk's role is concerned i do not think there is anything wrong as long as he is positively impacting the market.

It is because of Elon Musk's actions that many more companies will follow him, which will make this bull run last much longer. And no one really can predict how long.
