Satoshi included an article from the Times (a UK newspaper) in the genesis block which was 'Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks'. Many of the same people involved in Bitcoin were the same people who bought Gamestop on r/wallstreetbets to screw with hedge funds. Ultimately, BTC doesn't need support from conventional financial institutions. The values that it embodies are in direct opposition to theirs.
I also think that Musk's interventions are a little dodgy really. Especially his support for DOGE. Even the co-creator of it seems to think that the speculative greed Musk is encouraging is wrong.
