I don't want to disappoint you, but these days in most countries, living without marriage, e.g., partnership, have the same privileges and obligations as an ordinary marriage

At least in my country the live-in partners doesn't have the same rights as that of married couples. So in case the two breakup, the male partner doesn't need to provide alimony or maintenance (as long as there are no children resulting from this relationship). However, as I have posted this before, entering such a relation can be misused by the female partner to file a rape case against the male partner at a later point of time.
