They will expire when you hit the target or hit your liquidation price if you set one. Is this open position is different from the one you are said 25$? I also encountered this recently, i can't transfer it to spot wallet, and then i tried using browser(dekstop) and it work normally.
Probably an Internet connection issue cause I'm using mobile app for trading and barely have any issue when using it. But yeah, could possibly sincr you also encountered it.
