I quit 2 years ago and I never felt better. I know it sounds strange but I read a book and I it was easy to quit. I strongly encourage everyone to do so because they can but they dont know that.
Congrats mate , Lucky for you that had been quit for more than 2 years while i am just starting now , i am taking it hard but i know i will succeed one day.

i am always fond of those smokers that eventually made their way to smoke free living.

Nice one my friend @OP. You know, the most difficult part about staying out of what you've condemned as a bad habit is the determination and staying true to your words especially, when you've got no one pushing you to do it. You knew what you want to achieve and your two years on it so far. Cheers!
and sometimes it is the community you are living with , if the people around you are smokers then for sure it will be harder to motivate yourself from completely stepping out.
