Unless you are born into wealth, or a huge inheritance, you pretty much have to show an effort to make money. We must first understand that the words "Make money" and "Earn money", are two almost alike words, but very distinctive in meaning.

While one (earning money) entails you getting into an already established system ( a functioning company or organisation) with the purpose of offering your services in exchange for a monthly or weekly salary .
It requires effort, but not so much.

Making money on the hand, entails starting and building a sustainable system of getting money from scratch. It is entrepreneurial and requires a lot of effort.
