I have an 8 pin to dual 6+2 pin VGA cable. Typically you would plug the 8-pin end to the PSU and plug the two 6+2 ends to the GPU (3070).

However I've ran out of 8 pin slots in my PSU and was wondering whether I can reverse the cable and plug one of the 6+2 ends on the psu using only the 6 pin and then connect the 8-pin to the GPU.

Will this be okay?
