I thought, why should we make life on Mars when we can easily build a large spaceship (like an American aircraft carrier) for human habitation.
Mars is just an arid planet with little chance for humans to survive. sorry not a scientist

People Need another planet to land and start a new life and this is what motivates NASA to find and build.
