Dogecoin has great potential and it is among the top 20 best altcoins that remains between top 50 altcoins. But I don’t think it will go to 1$ in near future it will go but take some time may be 6-8 months. You can buy doge coin for profit but it will go max .23$ as per my prediction.
Great potential you are talking about, where is it located? I have been a member of this market for many years and can see Dogecoin's footsteps from its early stages, much of the time Dogecoin's rise depends on Chinese investors' inspiration, most recently in the control of a whale like Elon Musk, its potential is probably just a tool for others to manipulate. Of course, with manipulation, $1 with dogecoin is still possible but I worry that the development of new altcoins will take over the dogecoin's market, and even bitcoin might ruin the party that dogecoin wants
