The auction looked like some sort of favoring the players they like the most, reject good players while paying huge amount of money to players who never performed well in the IPL like Steven Smith and Glen Maxwell and Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan Singh getting big amounts as well and they are not playing international cricket for along time while neglecting some youngsters and the most controversy will be the inclusion of Arjun Tendulkar and there are talks of nepotism popping up again

I agree with all the other names, but not with Steve Smith. That guy is a legend, and he just got ₹2.2 crore. Useless players such as Shivam Dube received double that amount. And the bids for players such as Piyush Chawla surprises me. He has been a failure in recent editions, and age is not on his side. There are promising spinners around, such as Khrievitso Kense who are never considered by these franchises. Instead they are going for these good for nothing oldies.
