I guess it's ok, the mods wanted to see less spam and so they did.
However there is still a lot of spam, it's not gone, however the amount of good and helpful/interesting posts ave also decreased.
You can view the discussion in the thread in the meta section. In my humble opinion the mods didn't have a lot to say to defend
the changes except that it stops spam (which they're technically right about), but there were no responses to the other problems.
