I also watched some videos yesterday of "Foss", so I wonder if it was again him. All his other $50,000 feature buys failed miserably as he only won like $10,000.
Just crazy to bet $50,000 and even more crazy to win $2.5 M$, which can be a life changing amount.
Not for someone who can afford betting $50k at once. I bet winning $2.5M for that guy would be the same fun as for the most of us here winning $200. Or, maybe even less fun? There's a study saying that after a certain threshold has passed, more money don't make you more happy anymore:
If he already have that much money where he can spend it with a single bet, it can assume that he have so much money. And winning $2.5M might be normal or won't change that much.
He will continue to chase more money as he can afford losing far high, same with your opinion, the level of entertainment relies with the lust that you have, if you are capable of losing only $50 then winning $200 - $1K will give you enough enjoyment, while if you can afford to lose more, then the level of your target is bigger to take the entertainment or the want that you wanted to meet.
