I'm trying to know if someone has 5,000,000 USD to sponsor developers that has a project idea is it enough in that market or not. As projects that's made out of selling coins first people doesn't trust it most of the time. So, it may need to start as self-fund at the beginning.
You are looking coin/token with a self-fund.

Sponsor, raise money is not self-funding! most projects, coin or token with self-funding only maybe have a few thousand hundred dollars they are really have limited amount some of them can just have a few thousand dollar. A typical projects like this only can survive with selling their token allocation, a community supported by helping them listing on some exchange or maybe a small donation.

Some coins who really self-fund without any ICO you can check about X-CASH they have self fund project with 100,000$.

do you mean that one?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/x-cash/
so it's like they invested 100,000 USD ( total cap ), and now it's 9,000,000 USD ? So, if they hold 50% now their 100,000 USD turned into 4,500,000 USD?

wow, thats really great result from xcash project
by the way, if i'm not wrong dash also a kind of self-funding cryptocurrency (correct me if i'am wrong)
so, for me the most successful self funding crypto is dash
