The dew factor and the reverse swing was considered to be a major factor that will help fast bowlers but the pitch looks like it is tailor made for India to win the match and England fell for the trap set as they just picked one spinner for the match and the Indian spinners dominating the first day and picked 9 wickets and spinners taking 11 wickets in the first day of the match means England was foxed by the pitch as they picked a spinner in the team

. It is foolish to believe that the Indian pitches would offer any type of support to the pace bowlers. But I can understand the logic behind England picking only one spinner. Dom Bess was very wayward during the second innings of the first test, and also we need to keep in mind that the Indian batsmen are very good players of spin. On top of that, it doesn't make any sense to drop one among these three - Stuart Broad, James Anderson and Jofra Archer, in favor of Bess.
