I think the main reason why plenty of people and crypto enthusiasts investing in erc20 tokens is because it is more convenient for them. However, looking at the TRC20 tokens such as JST, REV and PYRO gives us an idea that there is a promising gems TRC20 that must keep on eye with.
In the past, it was more convenient to invest in ERC20 tokens because the Gas costs were still very low, but now all that convenience has been lost when the Gas costs are already very high, so almost everyone wants to use another Platform whose transaction fees are cheaper than at ERC20.
Correct, there are lots of people who have been trapped since they are holding ERC base tokens, unable to sell
it since the gas fees are very huge.
Considering to find other chain that offers much lesser transaction fees, we will see more deveopers to explore
and produce project that base to another chain to avoid high fees.
