I installed wallet and run it on testnet

Running symbol-desktop-wallet\Symbol Wallet.exe? .... Which instructions you followed?

I installed this exe file from here, now I see it is 14.0 and you are trying 14.1 (:

Literarily just run it, and after that created new wallet on testnet. It seems working, balance is 0 and I don't know if I should check something else...

Did you got any notifications from Window's security softwares?
In Windows10 there appeared some note from Microsoft Defender Smartscreen. I think it came with 14.0 and also with 14.1. The note was passed and the installation continued.

Edit: tried now again with 14.1. And reduced some security SWs from PC before installation and running.
After 30 minutes the Wallet-window remained totally empty, not even a note that "You are missing this ..." or "Cannot connect to ...".

Didn't get any message (Win 10), I'm using McAfee, so it Win Defender Firewall is not active on my PC, maybe that makes difference.

Tried again so that firewall was shutdown. No improvements: the Symbol-window is totally empty, not even Menus, nothing.
Strange... I would expect that the UI and Menus are constructed before trying db or net connections.
The version 0.10 was showing something, so this PC has some capability to work...

In Windows7 the 14.1 installation went better.
There the Symbol-wallet's window has texts :

   "Access my Profile

   Create mnemonic Import mnemonic Access Ledger"

Were those similar as in your wallet?

I hope there will be bigger fonts and guides for the wallet usage ... (and it is not assumed that "ofcourse everyone knows these universal crypto things")

Yes, I got the same and choosed to create mnemonic on testnet to give it a try. I got XYM wallet data in pdf when opted in with XEM wallet, but guess that one I can import after 15th, once when Symbol mainet is up...
