Things are not assured. We are not certain of when will the market price increase. The dump could last for a month, or even year, as evident to what happened before. But it can also go up back again within few days, that's just how volatility works. The question I think that should be asked is, if what happened is a correction already or just a part of its nature of market volatility. The prices of not only ethereum but most of the cryptos are in green marks for a long period of time, but if the market is pulled down, and resistance exist, it will be having a hard time to recover. Going back with your argument, there's no basis supporting that whenever price correction occurred, a new ATH will be announced. The market will more likely seek recovery than jumping into new ATH.
