adoption is happening now. Bitcoin has not become the preserve of the new millennium generation or the youth.
I saw early today an old man (about 75 years old) wearing Bitcoin shirt.
I tried to explain it to my parents and several other adults. They do not care about this technology and do not believe in an alternative of banknotes.
Such can't be seen as an adoption because the elderly man might not have the basic idea on how the internet money works. It could have be accepted as adoption if a verifiable one or two question was asked and a reply given by this elderly person, but, no was the case. Also, remember that anyone can buy used cloths from the market without paying attention to what's written on them, especially the old ones.
