I believe you can use any third-party wallet that supports cryptocurrencies such as Doge.

Many thanks, I'm downloading the block-chain via Doge's Core version and will check out the example you gave. I've got some DOGE on paper wallets when I withdrew from exchanges that looked like they were about to crash (and did) selling what I could for DOGE then withdrawing. (not a lot mind you, but worth spending an hour or two setting the wallet up).
