I agree with you that most files on allprivatekeys are the same ones that are circulating around. Some even have the same filesize for a given wallet. When the wallet sizes are different, I've noticed it's just because the seller syncs the wallets before selling them (so transaction data is added in the wallet file).
However, I don't think not sharing the whole hash is a red flag - it makes sense, I think. Because then you don't need to buy anything from him: you can try to crack all hashes first, then buy the ones you successfully cracked (yeah right
