Credits seems best annouced alts so far, I hope this one has bright future. So, how can "simple" user (read: noob) help? I've got poor mining capability ('bout 500 Cr so far) and crappy geografical position for serious marketing...
The best thing you can do is just have faith in this currency. It would go a long way if people just stuck with it. If you have any questions at all, just post here or contact me or dnaanders, and on the IRC, we're almost always there except for sleeping and such.
If you have a little extra cash to spend and you are looking to get more Creds, there are miners available for rent on eBay. Alternatively, if you want to use bitcoins, there are sites like
