I have not used eth blockchain for a while now due to those really high fees. I still wonder how people are able to cope with trading on decentralized exchanges with such high fees. Last time I tried moving one of my coins that had appreciated a bit from my wallet, they requested for $30. I reduced the limit to around $13 and had to wait 3 days for confirmation.
