I think the gpu top is in. I don't think that 3080's at $1,800-2000 is sustainable. I think it is going to take a little while for prices to drop a lot though.
I had the chance to buy a stellar.io bot last night for $300 and I didn't. Supposedly they sold around 2000 key's. I regret it even though some people are saying the dev's might bolt. Bot's are all the rage and now people are buying keys to in hopes to flip them.
End result is until BestBuy starts selling in store the average person looking for a top tier gpu is likely not getting one without buying from eBay, Stockx or a local reseller.
I sell a lot of toys during the holidays and it would be nice to be able to automate those purchase's to augment what I can get wholesale or retail brick and morters. I may rent a bot for a month to see how difficult it is to keep up, what additional costs like proxies are, and how successful it is if I am trying to grab lower tier gpu's.
Yes it seems without a bot it's impossible to get a card at retail. A lot of people are crying foul with the Newegg shuffle but that's the only way I've been able to get cards at a decent price these days and I look forward to entering the shuffle when it's available.
