Meh, as far as being a post worthy of this thread--but I wanted to say that when I joined the forum I used to see a lot more of those kinds of posts, just randomly begging for bitcoin. You don't see them as much these days (though when they do get posted I'm pretty sure the mods scrub them as soon as they're reported). That might be a wee bit of evidence that bitcoin isn't seen as some magic internet money that people just give away. As an aside, I wonder how those doge tipbots on Reddit are doing nowadays.

Yeah, no doubt Mr. John Barret was referred to the forum by the shitposting members of his illiterate family whose standard of living has probably gone up a notch or three since starting the "spam bitcointalk for money" career. Ugh.
