For sure, Binance is one of the best exchanges. By the way several years ago I had a practice of using Kucoin and I was quite satisfied with that exchange also. There you don't have to make verifications during the registration and the interface is very easy at using, so I had no problems with exchanging my tokens at Kucoin.
I'm using both platform and several others as all my trading token not are available at the same time. Anyway, Binance, Kucoin, OKEx, etc exchange are big name in crypto industry and, good thing is easy available there apps on Apple & Google playstore.
Most traders seek for reputations and how easy the interface to use. While other traders also use small exchange to find opportunities.
There times where small exchange are being used for arbitrage trades, getting some edge when there's price difference especially if the coin are being added to a much bigger exchange, those who left behind with the information failed to anticipate the possibilities of pumped.
Those named exchange have the a good numbers of end users, just depend from the traders which one to use and which one gives them some good advantages.
