Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin has bloomed since 2009, and still going upward.
Some commercial banks, including some investment banks, introduce their own cryptocurrencies for the purposes of settlements and transactions with certain financial institutions and corporations. At the moment, central banking is not interested in cryptocurrencies, but this may change in the future.
And it will definitely do.
So what exactly makes you think that they will change in the future? If you are talking about central banks shifting to bitcoin, that is not going to happen. At least not now. Maybe after decades when the government has full control of bitcoin. But stop dreaming about it now.
The best they will do is create their own "centralized" coins and probably integrate blockchain technology to their current system. Now do you need more centralized money? It has no difference with the current digital fiat system at all.
