The main goal of ether is not to become an alternative to global currency, but rather to facilitate smart contracts and smart applications.  Many experts see huge potential in Ethereum.  Some experts estimate that ETH tokens can be up to US $ 10,000 and a market capitalization of over one trillion dollars.
