If we are so worried about prices of commodities like food going up, why don't we plat our own food, make a self sustaining garden to meet the daily needs, it can greatly cut your expenses because you don't need a lot of things to buy when you go to the market.
Not everyone can do that though as not everyone has a garden and the space to grow some vegetables need to be big. Maybe a community vegetable garden can work and everyone can benefit from it. I have heard of this kinds of stories about people having their own sustainable garden and I think that this could help us and the economy in the future.
