I always get the impression that I get much bigger wins in demo mode than in real mode. If I would have the same luck in real mode, I would have made thousands of dollar lol 
It's just an illusion. You feel luckier and stuff because you have a humongous bankroll on the fun mode.More bankroll = more chance to win a high multiplier or hitting a mediocre multiplier but with $10/spin that you won't normally do.

You are right to a certain point. In demo mode, my bet size is indeed much higher than in real mode, but I still get the impression that I seem to reach easier the bonusrounds (including high wins) when playing in demo mode.
