History tells us the more people start spreading FUD, the more likely it is that the price will increase 
All in all I would say the dump of NEM isn't even that bad considering other coins which split 1:1. Current valuation means people consider XEM and XYM about equal if we compare current price vs peak price last week.

Considering the 1000sat dump, I would expect that XYM will cost 1000sat , but no, it's not going to be a $5 billion market at launch..
