Those are coins that I really don't know and I refrain from doing that strategy. Although I'm very much aware that there are traders that have made their fortune through those mid tier/cap coins.
They're earlier than the others and that's why the edge is on them before it goes on the pump. And when that coin gains a lot from the market, they'll be proud of themselves for deciding to invest with those coins. Still, I wish you the best.
There are now lots of new altcoins I don't know about other than the top altcoins, and the majority of newbies know more about the new altcoins because they prefer profits in the short or medium term.
Since there are no guarantees to invest in the long term choosing new altcoins, although not all of them, hopefully the new altcoins you choose will benefit you.
Yes, most of the newbies are introduced mostly in the newer coins. They have the logic that it's better to invest into those coins as if they're going to be the same as bitcoin.
And what they're doing just now is investing on it during the early days. That's what they keep on thinking about but that's not really wrong at all. It's another kind of strategy.
