The only one that you as a new investor need to focus on is bitcoin and bitcoin only. All other altcoins are not worth your time or money. Now you might say, "meh bitcoin is so costly" - Now I cant help that, but it would help you if you have the patience and wait for bitcoin to crash back to 20k or 30k USD levels either of which is difficult to predict right now but possible.

There are hundreds of altcoins out there. After seeing these move around for a few years I have concluded that 99% of altcoins are scams or failures from the start but the hype makes them grow inorganically like a ponzi until they actually dump to a price that you are in a loss. Hence why bother trying to find that 1% cream layer of altcoins? Just ignore them all.

Unfortunately, these people are the ones who will actually try to contact you.

Take my advice and learn how to buy low and sell high at the correct time on bitcoin by watching the charts and analyzing past charts.
