Do you think there will ever be a time when Ethereum will stop following Bitcoin? The time Ethereum goes up in value is because Bitcoin goes up in value. In the future, will people look for Ether first before Bitcoin? Or will it always be Bitcoin's sidekick

I wouldn't call Ethereum a sidekick of bitcoin, if ever there will be one, it should be litecoin, as it was a fork from bitcoin and acted like a testing ground for his big brother. As for the correlation, it's obvious that every coin is pair with BTC/x that's why everyone including Ethereum, although a prime mover in the altcoin market should follow bitcoin's price movement. And I don't think that Ethereum will overtake bitcoin as the main dominant coin in the market, it won't happen. So Ethereum will always follow bitcoin's price movement, no matter what. What do you guys think?
