I doubt if he's going to feature in domestic regularly. Delhi already dropped him after couple of games in Vijay hazare trophy, if something goes wrong with his fitness or form for long then he should stick with the T-20 format (IPL) and try to comeback. Devdutt is 20 years old so nothing to worry about as he has plenty of time. He's left hander opener so in future he will come easily in the team if he continues with his form.
Apart from one century against Maharashtra, Shikhar was disappointing during the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Also, a lot of competition is there for slots in the Delhi top order. There are promising youngsters fighting for a slot in the Delhi side, such as Dhruv Shorey, Nitish Rana and Himmat Singh.
