I don't think TRX will beat Ethereum. If any altcoin beats Ethereum, it will be BNB. Because Binance has the most trusted, fasted network with very low transaction fee. This is a big issue right now that can beat Ethereum.
LOL.. TRX is in death bed right now and it's user base and acceptability is going down with each passing month. IMO, Cardano is one of the coins that have the capability to replace Ethereum from the #2 position. It is not going to be easy, as right now Ethereum is having almost complete monopoly as far as smart contract platforms are concerned. But a lot of users are getting fed up with the extremely high transaction fee and security issues.
