I'm not really a fan of either of those coins however if I had to choose I will pick litecoin in a heartbeat, you need to understand that trust is significantly important when it comes to any form of money, once that trust is lost that currency will go nowhere, bitcoin cash is nothing but a fork of bitcoin and there was a time in which the community thought that if they thought they could do a better work than the bitcoin developers then let them try and see if they are right, but then came the allegations of those supporting bitcoin cash that they were in fact the original and that made the community to turn against them.

Since then the community surrounding bitcoin cash has been nothing but toxic and that is a clear sign that you should stay away from it no matter what happens.
