Trezor doesn't claim that it natively supports Ravencoin. if you take a look at
supported coins & tokens, you will see that for Bitcoin, one of the supported wallets is Trezor Suite + 2 third-party wallets. Enter RVN in the search bar and you will notice that Trezor Suite is not on the list of supported wallets. Only
Chaintek, Electrum-RVN, and Mango Farm.
You seem to be more focused on simplicity instead of security. What you are using now with your Raven Core wallet is the equivalent of a hot wallet. If your computer gets infected with a crypto-stealing malware, you could lose your RVN coins. That's the disadvantage of your choice of preferring the simpler path. But if you took the more secure path and did what was suggested to you in the thread, a malware couldn't steal your coins because it needs physical confirmation from your hardware wallet to broadcast the transaction.
Make up your own mind which path seems better.
