I do not get how it could be separated, I am sort of both of these and I still think they are both possible. For example I do join competitions, but I do not really talk to anyone or chat with anyone or make friends, so that means I am alone, and that should make me a lone bettor, yes I do bet against others as well, I do play poker too which is even more competitive if you think about it compared to just some games, but at the end of the day I do not chat with people so why would it mean that I can be either lone bettor OR a competitive one, can't I be both?

The way I bet is both lone and competitive so I think I would be perfectly matching both and I disagree anyone that says that joining games with others would mean that I am not alone, those are just some nicknames that I see and not people for me, might as well be NPC by the casino all I care.
