I think people already know the answer, But IMHO, Litecoin exists first before BCH creation through a Bitcoin hard fork thats why you are asking the wrong question?  So let us reverse the question Why we need BCH when Litecoin is already here? I believe LTC is far better than BCH with a strong community and investors as well.
