Can you remove the back cover without damaging the warranty seals?
It makes little sense to measure the temperature of the case.
At the initial stage, there should be no problems, it is very interesting what will happen to your laptop in 3 months. I'm sure the temperatures will increase if there is no additional cooling.

There is a seal but also laws about where i life.
They must give me the chance to change hardware.
MSI also allow me to change the cooler on desktop card an so on.. even if there is a seal, no problem.
Already got a new 1070ti on warranty. Seal was broken.
That the point why i only use MSI, Asus and EVGA. They dont care about (where i life here in europe)
Usualy i sold my hardware 3-6 months before warranty ends.. never got problems with that.
