What is a "Sandwich wrapper"? Is something related to the car or to the food? Does it have a double meaning?

Just saw we have 3 weeks of a break already, man I already missing the past year with 2 races every 3 weeks for a month. This feels boring now.
It was sandwich wrapper literally, no double meaning. It's piece of paper or plastic where sandwich is packed.
Yeah, such long breaks looks strange after such intensive season that we had last year.
