So money can buy anything and even turn the law in favor of you. If the ripple team has been dumping on the people for all those years, now they can continue their business by just giving some bribe to the SEC. Although many of us are here to make trading with ripple and increase our bitcoin but we should see how things are being unfolded and whats the power of money.
First of all, it's not about money and previous case was solved by court and court ordered that projects to pay that penalty to finish that case. It's not like giving some bribe to SEC at all as it's clearly a public case and everything needs to be published on public domains. Hopefully, you know about the case of Bitfinex and tether which was also solved by paying penalty just like that. Secondly, recent dump was done because of the former founder of Ripple who is dumping to take advantage of the current bull market because everyone is here to make money.
