Because nft are cool and way easy to do some arts and creation isn't that hard for some developers. Anything considered art is a hype, well you add some blockchain and smart contract related then its definitely an overkill.

So literally these nft hype will be staying for a long long time to give attention to all users. Not just traders or crypto gurus are into it but some commercial and known personality as well. Ive think this 2021 is the era of nft.
