I've seen a news today that India is going to under weekly Lockdown because of the highest single day covid-19 detection. Near around 0.1 million new cases recorded yesterday, it is the height single day count till now. The big question now is whether such an unpleasant incident will affect the IPL 2021!
That's indeed bad news. If there are lockdown out there then how would they have the tournament? How many weeks they will continue the lockdown?

Not India but 1 major city Mumbai gong into partial lock down which is contributing more than 60% of Covid cases in India. BCCI gave statement that its too late to move the Venue (From Mumbai to other states) and Mumbai Cricket Association seems to be very confident (or may be over confident) that there would be no problem for IPL despite partial lock down.
